What’s your approach to design?
I come from a swiss based design school, so my approach is always to simplify and find out ways to cut through the noise. I believe good design is thoughtful, intentional, and balanced.
What kind of design do you do?
I wear a lot of different design hats. My skill set spans digital, print, ux, photo, animation and video. I love roles and opportunities that allow me the freedom to work in several different mediums.
How long have you been designing?
I have been working professionally for over 10 years serving clients and working for companies in tech, retail, architecture, hospitality and entertainment, but I guess the real start was mastering the paint application on windows microsoft.
Do you have experience working with developers on ux and web design?
Yes! I have lots of experience working with developers overseeing a website from concept, QA, and production. My love for coding and site probably started when I would code all over my myspace page. In college, coding was part of the curriculum and we had to code our own portfolio site, so with that experience I am able to confidently communicate with developers and work through complex problems.
What’s your greatest weakness?
Probably, that I care too much…just kidding I hate that question.
Have you ever been on a shoot before?
Throughout my career I have had the opportunity to be on several different shoots as an art director for product, lifestyle, you name it. It has been one of the highlights of my career! I love working with models, finding the right swipe to get just the right photo, I love the conceptual work that goes into preparing for a shoot but what I love most of all is the food on set, it’s always so delicious.
What’s your claim to fame?
In 2019 my improv team, Kerrigan, won the New York City Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB) Indie Cage Match.
Do you have experience managing people?
Yes! I have experience directly managing freelancers, as well as mentoring junior designers.
